Position: Software Engineer A dynamic organisation seeks an experienced Software Engineer to take on a multifaceted and impactful role. Identify and proactively address technical debt through systematic refactoring. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Establish and enforce coding standards, review guidelines, and engineering best practices. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Support cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Education and Experience Requirements: Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment. Demonstrated proficiency with industry-standard tools, platforms, and methodologies. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with organisational values. A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage. Minimum 35 years of progressive professional experience in a comparable role. Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and matrix organisational structures. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
