Position: Lead Software Engineer We are on the lookout for a well-rounded Lead Software Engineer to contribute to our operational and strategic priorities. Scope of Responsibilities: Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical architecture discussions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services at scale. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications aligned to specifications. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through proactive engineering. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system performance issues. Competencies and Qualifications: At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Commitment to ongoing professional learning and industry knowledge enhancement. Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools specific to the functional area. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree or professional certification is preferred. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a client-service orientation. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
