Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Drive the technical roadmap for assigned product domains in collaboration with product teams. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Support cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Champion practices such as TDD, pair programming, and automated regression testing. Education and Experience Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges. Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and matrix organisational structures. Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment. Demonstrated proficiency with industry-standard tools, platforms, and methodologies. Minimum 35 years of progressive professional experience in a comparable role. A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
