Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Establish and enforce coding standards, review guidelines, and engineering best practices. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Architect and build enterprise-grade software components and product platforms. Champion practices such as TDD, pair programming, and automated regression testing. Support cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Professional Requirements: Hands-on experience with tools, software, and platforms standard to the profession. A structured, results-driven approach with the ability to meet defined milestones consistently. Willingness to travel, adapt, and take on additional responsibilities as the business demands. Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to build trust and rapport across functions. 26 years of relevant industry experience with evidence of increasing responsibility. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all organisational levels. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
