Key Deliverables and Responsibilities: Support M&A due diligence, corporate restructuring, and regulatory approval processes. Liaise with regulatory authorities, government bodies, and industry associations. Manage litigation, disputes, and legal escalations in coordination with external counsel. Develop and implement compliance frameworks, policies, and training programmes. Provide legal guidance on contracts, commercial agreements, and regulatory requirements. Manage legal budgets and cost-effectively coordinate external legal counsel relationships. Monitor regulatory developments and advise the business on compliance obligations. Prepare and present legal risk reports and compliance dashboards to senior leadership. Professional Requirements: A structured, results-driven approach with the ability to meet defined milestones consistently. 26 years of relevant industry experience with evidence of increasing responsibility. Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, or quality frameworks applicable to the industry. Willingness to travel, adapt, and take on additional responsibilities as the business demands. Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to build trust and rapport across functions. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all organisational levels. Law degree (LLB/LLM) and sound understanding of corporate law, contracts, and Indian regulations.
