Position: Inventory Specialist (2nd Shift) A compelling career opportunity exists for a skilled Inventory Specialist (2nd Shift) to drive meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities: Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasting, and stock replenishment activities. Collaborate with production, sales, and finance to align supply with demand plans. Coordinate import/export documentation, customs clearance, and freight management. Manage relationships with 3PL, freight forwarders, and last-mile logistics partners. Oversee vendor selection, RFQ processes, contract negotiation, and supplier performance. Analyse supply chain data to identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, and improvements. Ensure full compliance with DGFT guidelines, customs regulations, and trade laws. Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste and improve supply chain performance. Qualifications and Requirements: High degree of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with organisational values. Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and matrix organisational structures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is essential. Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges. Minimum 35 years of progressive professional experience in a comparable role. Experience with ERP, WMS, and supply chain analytics tools; Six Sigma certification is a plus.
