Pfizer is seeking a skilled Automation Java Developer to join our global digital technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and tools that enhance our software delivery process. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of automation solutions supporting critical healthcare and pharmaceutical platforms.

? Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based automation frameworks for backend and API testing.

Implement automated testing strategies for web, API, and microservices applications.

Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and development teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Troubleshoot and optimize test execution to ensure efficient continuous testing.

Develop reusable components and utilities to support test automation efforts.

Document automation processes and maintain clear, reusable scripts.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

? Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

3–6 years of experience in Java development and test automation.

Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, RestAssured, or Cucumber.

Strong understanding of API automation, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven), and version control.

Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a global team setup.

Manages and oversees the collection, validation, and analysis of clinical trial data. Ensures data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. Develops and implements data management plans, prepares reports, and collaborates with clinical teams to resolve data issues. Utilizes data management software and ensures that data is stored securely.

Participates in R&D activities, including experimental design, data analysis, and collaboration with research teams. Requires strong research skills and a background in R&D.

Assists in conducting research in biotechnology, including genetic engineering and bioinformatics. Requires a background in biotechnology and experience in research laboratories.

Monitors and evaluates adverse drug reactions, ensures timely reporting to regulatory bodies, and implements risk management strategies. Requires experience in pharmacovigilance, knowledge of safety regulations, and strong analytical skills.
