Position: 2021 Summer Internship: Energy Procurement & Management Our firm seeks a competent and professional 2021 Summer Internship: Energy Procurement & Management for a critical role in a high-performance environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee vendor selection, RFQ processes, contract negotiation, and supplier performance. Ensure full compliance with DGFT guidelines, customs regulations, and trade laws. Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasting, and stock replenishment activities. Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste and improve supply chain performance. Prepare and present supply chain KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports to leadership. Manage end-to-end supply chain operations from procurement through to delivery. Implement ERP and WMS solutions to improve operational visibility and efficiency. Analyse supply chain data to identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, and improvements. Required Qualifications: Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Commitment to ongoing professional learning and industry knowledge enhancement. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a client-service orientation. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree or professional certification is preferred. Experience with ERP, WMS, and supply chain analytics tools; Six Sigma certification is a plus.
