Position: Manager (Software Developer) A dynamic organisation seeks an experienced Manager (Software Developer) to take on a multifaceted and impactful role. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Support cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Drive the technical roadmap for assigned product domains in collaboration with product teams. Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and business teams to deliver on schedule and within scope. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Required Qualifications: Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools specific to the functional area. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree or professional certification is preferred. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a client-service orientation. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
