Position: Associate, Big Data Software Engineer We are on the lookout for a well-rounded Associate, Big Data Software Engineer to contribute to our operational and strategic priorities. Scope of Responsibilities: Evaluate and adopt third-party tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve velocity. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines ensuring reliable, automated, and consistent deployments. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications aligned to specifications. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint reviews. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical architecture discussions. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through proactive engineering. Competencies and Qualifications: Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a client-service orientation. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools specific to the functional area. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
