Role Responsibilities: Identify and proactively address technical debt through systematic refactoring. Architect and build enterprise-grade software components and product platforms. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and business teams to deliver on schedule and within scope. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Champion practices such as TDD, pair programming, and automated regression testing. Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Education and Experience Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is essential. Minimum 35 years of progressive professional experience in a comparable role. Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and matrix organisational structures. A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with organisational values. Demonstrated proficiency with industry-standard tools, platforms, and methodologies. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
