Position: Senior Software Engineer We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Software Engineer to deliver excellence across key functions. Scope of Responsibilities: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services at scale. Produce clear technical documentation including architecture diagrams and API contracts. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through proactive engineering. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system performance issues. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical architecture discussions. Evaluate and adopt third-party tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve velocity. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines ensuring reliable, automated, and consistent deployments. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint reviews. Competencies and Qualifications: Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools specific to the functional area. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree or professional certification is preferred. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
