Role Responsibilities: Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Champion practices such as TDD, pair programming, and automated regression testing. Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and business teams to deliver on schedule and within scope. Architect and build enterprise-grade software components and product platforms. Identify and proactively address technical debt through systematic refactoring. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Drive the technical roadmap for assigned product domains in collaboration with product teams. Education and Experience Requirements: High degree of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with organisational values. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges. Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and matrix organisational structures. Minimum 35 years of progressive professional experience in a comparable role. Demonstrated proficiency with industry-standard tools, platforms, and methodologies. A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
