Key Responsibilities: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines ensuring reliable, automated, and consistent deployments. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services at scale. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint reviews. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system performance issues. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications aligned to specifications. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through proactive engineering. Qualifications and Requirements: Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and matrix organisational structures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges. A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage. Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with organisational values. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
