Scope of Responsibilities: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services at scale. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications aligned to specifications. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through proactive engineering. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system performance issues. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical architecture discussions. Competencies and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree or professional certification is preferred. Commitment to ongoing professional learning and industry knowledge enhancement. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools specific to the functional area. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
