Responsibilities Include: Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through proactive engineering. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services at scale. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical architecture discussions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Produce clear technical documentation including architecture diagrams and API contracts. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system performance issues. Skills and Qualifications: Willingness to travel, adapt, and take on additional responsibilities as the business demands. A structured, results-driven approach with the ability to meet defined milestones consistently. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all organisational levels. Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to build trust and rapport across functions. Hands-on experience with tools, software, and platforms standard to the profession. 26 years of relevant industry experience with evidence of increasing responsibility.
