Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Support cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and business teams to deliver on schedule and within scope. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Candidate Requirements: Recognised qualification in the relevant professional field at the undergraduate or graduate level. Sound understanding of organisational dynamics and stakeholder management in complex environments. Effective presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity. 5+ years of experience with demonstrated progression in scope, complexity, and responsibility. Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and the highest standards of conduct. Critical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into clear actions.
