Position: Web Developer A dynamic organisation seeks an experienced Web Developer to take on a multifaceted and impactful role. Role Responsibilities: Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Establish and enforce coding standards, review guidelines, and engineering best practices. Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Drive the technical roadmap for assigned product domains in collaboration with product teams. Identify and proactively address technical debt through systematic refactoring. Support cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Education and Experience Requirements: Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and matrix organisational structures. Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment. Demonstrated proficiency with industry-standard tools, platforms, and methodologies. Minimum 35 years of progressive professional experience in a comparable role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges. A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
