Key Deliverables and Responsibilities: Identify and proactively address technical debt through systematic refactoring. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Drive the technical roadmap for assigned product domains in collaboration with product teams. Champion practices such as TDD, pair programming, and automated regression testing. Establish and enforce coding standards, review guidelines, and engineering best practices. Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Professional Requirements: Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to build trust and rapport across functions. A structured, results-driven approach with the ability to meet defined milestones consistently. 26 years of relevant industry experience with evidence of increasing responsibility. Bachelor's or master's degree in a related discipline with strong academic and professional credentials. Hands-on experience with tools, software, and platforms standard to the profession. Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, or quality frameworks applicable to the industry. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
