Responsibilities Include: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Evaluate and adopt third-party tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve velocity. Produce clear technical documentation including architecture diagrams and API contracts. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through proactive engineering. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical architecture discussions. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint reviews. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in a related discipline with strong academic and professional credentials. Hands-on experience with tools, software, and platforms standard to the profession. 26 years of relevant industry experience with evidence of increasing responsibility. Willingness to travel, adapt, and take on additional responsibilities as the business demands. Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, or quality frameworks applicable to the industry. Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to build trust and rapport across functions. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
