Position: Software Engineer, Observability Our organisation is looking for an ambitious Software Engineer, Observability committed to quality outcomes and sustained growth. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Architect and build enterprise-grade software components and product platforms. Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Support cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Champion practices such as TDD, pair programming, and automated regression testing. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Required Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a client-service orientation. Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools specific to the functional area. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
