Position: Software Engineer - Microservices We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Software Engineer - Microservices to deliver excellence across key functions. Scope of Responsibilities: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical architecture discussions. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications aligned to specifications. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint reviews. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through proactive engineering. Evaluate and adopt third-party tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve velocity. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services at scale. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Competencies and Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a client-service orientation. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree or professional certification is preferred. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly. Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools specific to the functional area. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
