Scope of Responsibilities: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services at scale. Produce clear technical documentation including architecture diagrams and API contracts. Evaluate and adopt third-party tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve velocity. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint reviews. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications aligned to specifications. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Competencies and Qualifications: Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree or professional certification is preferred. Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools specific to the functional area. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
