Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Champion practices such as TDD, pair programming, and automated regression testing. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and business teams to deliver on schedule and within scope. Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Establish and enforce coding standards, review guidelines, and engineering best practices. Required Qualifications: Commitment to ongoing professional learning and industry knowledge enhancement. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree or professional certification is preferred. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly. Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools specific to the functional area. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
