Role Responsibilities: Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Architect and build enterprise-grade software components and product platforms. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Identify and proactively address technical debt through systematic refactoring. Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and business teams to deliver on schedule and within scope. Establish and enforce coding standards, review guidelines, and engineering best practices. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Education and Experience Requirements: A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage. Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges. Minimum 35 years of progressive professional experience in a comparable role. Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and matrix organisational structures. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with organisational values. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
