Position: Embedded Security Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Star Lab We are on the lookout for a well-rounded Embedded Security Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Star Lab to contribute to our operational and strategic priorities. The incumbent will operate in a structured yet agile environment that prioritises quality and professional growth. Scope of Responsibilities: Evaluate and adopt third-party tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve velocity. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services at scale. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system performance issues. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications aligned to specifications. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical architecture discussions. Competencies and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree or professional certification is preferred. Commitment to ongoing professional learning and industry knowledge enhancement. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a client-service orientation. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
