Key Deliverables and Responsibilities: Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Identify and proactively address technical debt through systematic refactoring. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Establish and enforce coding standards, review guidelines, and engineering best practices. Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Architect and build enterprise-grade software components and product platforms. Professional Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in a related discipline with strong academic and professional credentials. A structured, results-driven approach with the ability to meet defined milestones consistently. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all organisational levels. 26 years of relevant industry experience with evidence of increasing responsibility. Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to build trust and rapport across functions. Hands-on experience with tools, software, and platforms standard to the profession. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
