Scope of Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system performance issues. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint reviews. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical architecture discussions. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services at scale. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications aligned to specifications. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through proactive engineering. Competencies and Qualifications: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities. Proficiency in relevant software and digital tools specific to the functional area. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a client-service orientation. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
