Position: Software Engineer Mid to Senior Level - UAS A dynamic organisation seeks an experienced Software Engineer Mid to Senior Level - UAS to take on a multifaceted and impactful role. Principal Responsibilities: Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Champion practices such as TDD, pair programming, and automated regression testing. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Support cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Drive the technical roadmap for assigned product domains in collaboration with product teams. Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and business teams to deliver on schedule and within scope. Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Establish and enforce coding standards, review guidelines, and engineering best practices. Candidate Requirements: 5+ years of experience with demonstrated progression in scope, complexity, and responsibility. Sound understanding of organisational dynamics and stakeholder management in complex environments. Recognised qualification in the relevant professional field at the undergraduate or graduate level. Effective presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity. Leadership experience with a track record of guiding teams, projects, or cross-functional initiatives. Critical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into clear actions. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
