Role Responsibilities: Identify and proactively address technical debt through systematic refactoring. Architect and build enterprise-grade software components and product platforms. Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Establish and enforce coding standards, review guidelines, and engineering best practices. Support cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Drive the technical roadmap for assigned product domains in collaboration with product teams. Education and Experience Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges. Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and matrix organisational structures. A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage. Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is essential. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with organisational values. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
