Position: Aviation Software Engineer/Architect An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented Aviation Software Engineer/Architect to contribute to our mission. Responsibilities Include: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services at scale. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint reviews. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system performance issues. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through proactive engineering. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Produce clear technical documentation including architecture diagrams and API contracts. Skills and Qualifications: 26 years of relevant industry experience with evidence of increasing responsibility. Willingness to travel, adapt, and take on additional responsibilities as the business demands. A structured, results-driven approach with the ability to meet defined milestones consistently. Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to build trust and rapport across functions. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all organisational levels. Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, or quality frameworks applicable to the industry. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
