Position: 2021 EMEA Software Engineer Programme - Full Time (Bournemouth & Glasgow) (Autumn start) Join our forward-thinking team as a 2021 EMEA Software Engineer Programme - Full Time (Bournemouth & Glasgow) (Autumn start) and play a pivotal role in our continued success. This role provides exposure to strategic initiatives and direct collaboration with senior leadership. Main Accountabilities: Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Establish and enforce coding standards, review guidelines, and engineering best practices. Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and business teams to deliver on schedule and within scope. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Champion practices such as TDD, pair programming, and automated regression testing. Drive the technical roadmap for assigned product domains in collaboration with product teams. Essential Skills and Experience: Strong project management capabilities with experience in agile or structured methodologies. Knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and compliance requirements. Superior writing and communication skills with experience preparing executive-level documents. 4+ years of experience with a demonstrated track record of growth and professional impact. Expertise in applying quantitative and qualitative methods to support evidence-based decisions. Relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree aligned with the role's core responsibilities. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
