Scope of Responsibilities: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services at scale. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint reviews. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Evaluate and adopt third-party tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve velocity. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications aligned to specifications. Produce clear technical documentation including architecture diagrams and API contracts. Competencies and Qualifications: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree or professional certification is preferred. Commitment to ongoing professional learning and industry knowledge enhancement. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
