Position: JAVA Developer Our firm seeks a competent and professional JAVA Developer for a critical role in a high-performance environment. Role Responsibilities: Drive the technical roadmap for assigned product domains in collaboration with product teams. Implement observability solutions including logging, tracing, and alerting for services. Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development of engineering team members. Champion practices such as TDD, pair programming, and automated regression testing. Conduct root-cause analysis on production incidents and implement scalable remediations. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering frameworks. Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and business teams to deliver on schedule and within scope. Represent engineering in cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder reviews. Education and Experience Requirements: High degree of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with organisational values. Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and matrix organisational structures. A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage. Minimum 35 years of progressive professional experience in a comparable role. Demonstrated proficiency with industry-standard tools, platforms, and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
