Scope of Responsibilities: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of engineering excellence. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to ship quality features. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability through proactive engineering. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and system performance issues. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical architecture discussions. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint reviews. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established engineering standards. Evaluate and adopt third-party tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve velocity. Competencies and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; master's degree or professional certification is preferred. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. At least 24 years of hands-on experience in a comparable professional setting. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to synthesise and present complex information clearly. Commitment to ongoing professional learning and industry knowledge enhancement. Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, or equivalent.
