Position: Business Development Intern We are expanding our team and seek a driven Business Development Intern who brings expertise, initiative, and professionalism. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative, high-performance environment committed to excellence. Core Responsibilities: Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through outreach and networking. Develop strategic account plans with clear objectives, stakeholder maps, and revenue targets. Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to ensure a seamless buyer journey. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, distributors, and decision-makers. Track pipeline, forecasts, and activities in CRM tools and deliver regular performance updates. Manage upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base. Represent the organisation at trade events, industry conferences, and client meetings. Coordinate with legal and finance teams on contract terms, pricing, and deal closure. Minimum Qualifications: Strong project management capabilities with experience in agile or structured methodologies. Collaborative, proactive, and able to operate effectively with minimal supervision. Knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and compliance requirements. Expertise in applying quantitative and qualitative methods to support evidence-based decisions. Relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree aligned with the role's core responsibilities. Superior writing and communication skills with experience preparing executive-level documents. Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and quota targets.
