Position: Service Desk Manager We are on the lookout for a well-rounded Service Desk Manager to contribute to our operational and strategic priorities. Core Responsibilities: Manage IT security controls including firewalls, access management, and vulnerability patching. Evaluate and recommend technology modernisation initiatives to strengthen the IT landscape. Ensure compliance with data protection laws, IT audit standards, and governance frameworks. Design, implement, and manage on-premise and cloud-based network and server environments. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT infrastructure and end-user systems. Develop and maintain IT documentation, configuration management, and asset inventory. Monitor system performance and availability through proactive incident management. Deploy and administer enterprise applications, ERP platforms, and integration middleware. Minimum Qualifications: Expertise in applying quantitative and qualitative methods to support evidence-based decisions. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality deliverables. Superior writing and communication skills with experience preparing executive-level documents. Relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree aligned with the role's core responsibilities. Collaborative, proactive, and able to operate effectively with minimal supervision. Strong project management capabilities with experience in agile or structured methodologies. Certifications such as CCNA, ITIL, CompTIA Security+, AWS/Azure are highly desirable.
