Position: Assistant Manager We invite a proactive and capable Assistant Manager to lead and execute within a collaborative, agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide regular business updates, risk registers, and recommendations to senior leadership. Set clear vision, priorities, and performance expectations for the assigned team. Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, contracts, and performance review processes. Handle escalations, complex queries, and time-sensitive issues with professionalism. Build a high-performing team culture grounded in trust, transparency, and growth mindset. Lead capacity planning and workforce management to ensure operational readiness. Ensure all management practices align with employment, safety, and governance regulations. Develop business improvement plans to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and quality. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum 35 years of progressive professional experience in a comparable role. Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment. A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and alignment with organisational values. Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams and matrix organisational structures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges. Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-functional teams and driving business outcomes.
